Now, to facts about the Fed rate hikes. You may have seen that the Feds raised the rate again by 0.25%.
This rate hike did NOT change mortgage rates. In fact, mortgage rates improved that very day.
I know it can be confusing, but mortgage rates are actually as low as they’ve been in a month right now.
A 30-year fixed conventional rate starts at around 6.0% and a 30-year fixed FHA rate starts at around 5.5%.

Bottom line, if you’ve been on the fence about making a move, now is the time. With the spring weather and better interest rates, we’ve started to experience multiple offers again.
As you know, with supply and demand multiple offers mean higher sales prices. The sooner you buy, the more favorable your price.
The economists still maintain that Utah’s inventory is low. There is no bubble and prices are not going to dramatically fall.
